Operations Coordinator
Job Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day customer service role.
- Preparation of shipping documents.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain positive relationships with key operations vendors.
- Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer-related operational matters and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate, monitor and update in a timely manner on import and export shipments.
- Inform of any additional cost incurred and assist with the recovery of these cost.
Job Requirements
- Supply chain, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- DOT and Hazmat experience preferred.
